Real Is Sweet uses AI for one purpose: to make honest feedback easier to hear without changing what it says. This page explains exactly where AI is involved, what it does and doesn't do, and the controls you have.
Where AI is used
- Safety screening. Every submission is screened for abuse, threats, harassment, and sexually explicit content before it reaches your inbox.
- Mood rewrites. The same feedback can be delivered three ways — Give it to me straight, On the Rocks, and Watered Down. The mood changes the tone, never the substance.
- Summaries and insights. Once you have enough feedback, AI summarises recurring themes across submissions so you can see patterns rather than react to one opinion.
- PII redaction. Submissions are scanned for personal details that could identify the person who left the feedback, or third parties they mention.
What AI does not do
- It does not invent feedback. Every summary and rewrite is grounded in what someone actually submitted.
- It does not change the meaning of feedback. Softening delivery is not the same as removing the message — that is the point of the mood modes.
- It does not score, rank, or match you with anyone. Real Is Sweet has no matching, discovery, or public profiles.
- It does not make automated decisions about your account. Moderation actions are reviewed by a person.
Who processes your data
Feedback text is processed by our own AI service running on Google Cloud, which calls Google's Gemini models through Vertex AI. Google acts as a processor on our behalf under its enterprise terms. Your feedback is not used to train Google's models or ours.

Human review
Automated screening is a filter, not a judge. Content flagged as abusive, and any feedback you report, is reviewed by our moderation team. We remove objectionable content and act against its source — including deactivating the offending feedback link — within 24 hours of a report.
Accuracy and limits
AI summaries can be wrong. They compress many submissions into a short read, and nuance gets lost. Treat a summary as a starting point and read the underlying feedback yourself — it is always available in full, unedited, in your inbox.
Safety screening is also imperfect. If something harmful reaches you, tap Report or use Block & Hide, and tell us at support@realissweet.com.
Your controls
- AI coaching insights can be turned off in your profile's consent settings. Safety screening cannot be disabled — it protects everyone on the platform.
- Mood mode is your choice, per summary. Nothing is delivered in a tone you did not pick.
- Deletion. You can request deletion of your account and associated data from your profile settings, or by emailing support@realissweet.com. Deleting feedback removes it from AI processing going forward.
